Dr. Mohammad Arif Kamal works as an associate professor in Architecture Section of Aligarh Muslim University in India. His areas of interest include architectural design, environmental design, sustainable architecture, energy conservation in buildings, climate responsive architecture, and traditional architecture. He got his Ph.D. in Dept. of Architecture & Planning, IIT Roorkee in 2007 and M. Arch. in Dept. of Architecture & Planning IIT Roorkee in 2002. He is member of Faculty Board of Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University and member of Board of Studies of Architecture, Aligarh Muslim University. In addition, he is chairman of National Commission for Academic Accreditation & Assessment, KFUPM and chairman of Faculty Recruitment Committee, Dept. of Architecture, KFUPM.
