Abstract

China has exposed a series of issues such as the lack of concerted efforts in marine governance, insufficient coordination in marine spatial planning, the strength of marine industries being large but not strong, inadequate marine scientific innovation, low technology transfer rates, and a shortage of marine scientific research talents, highlighting the negative factors of marine education in the construction of a maritime superpower. These issues hinder the pace of building a maritime superpower and thus urgently require comprehensive deepening of China's marine education system and mechanisms, promoting the integrated development of marine education, science and technology.
