From the perspective of "director thinking": The evolution of creative logic in scriptwriting and directing

Abstract

With the evolution of visual media, traditional scriptwriting and directing reveal limits in expression and structure. "Director thinking", which emphasizes integration and structural awareness, offers a new creative approach. This paper examines its role in reshaping narrative, visuals, and expression, and how it helps creators move from executors to architects. The study finds that director thinking enhances coherence, deepens expression, and shifts creative logic toward multidimensionality and integration, which is essential to contemporary media creation.
