Abstract
Yangming 's thought of " tempering on things " emphasizes tempering the mind and realizing the unity of knowledge and practice in specific affairs, which is highly consistent with the concept of " practical education " in vocational education in the new era. The introduction of the idea of " training on the matter " into the education work system can provide an important philosophical basis and practical path for the innovation of education mode, the cultivation of professional quality and the improvement of theoretical system. This paper analyzes the philosophical connotation of " practice " and combines the actual needs of higher vocational education to explain its modern value from three dimensions : theoretical expansion, practical innovation and system construction, so as to provide operational path reference for counselors to carry out their work.
