Research Progress of Acupotomy in the Treatment of Adhesive Periarthritis of Shoulder under the Guidance of "Huangdi Neijing"

Abstract
Periarthritis of shoulder joint, also known as exposed shoulder wind, shoulder coagulation disease or 50 shoulders in traditional Chinese medicine, is a common shoulder disease, which mainly affects the middle-aged and elderly people, and the number of female patients exceeds that of men in recent years. Periarthritis of the shoulder is characterized by pain and limited activity. Many clinical studies have proved that acupotomy therapy has a significant effect in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder, but there are also many shortcomings, which still need further study.
