Abstract

Banxia Xiexin decoction is a representative prescription of the acrid-opening and bitter-descending method, widely used for qi movement disorders and mixed coldheat patterns. Chronic gastritis is a common digestive inflammatory disease with high incidence and recurrence, seriously affecting patients’ quality of life. Banxia Xiexin decoction exerts favorable effects on chronic gastritis by inhibiting inflammatory factors, promoting gastric mucosal repair, and regulating intestinal flora. Clinically, it improves gastrointestinal hormone secretion and motility, alleviates inflammation, and reduces recurrence in HPrelated gastritis. This paper reviews the basic and clinical research progress of Banxia Xiexin decoction for chronic gastritis to provide reference for clinical treatment.
