Advances in Research on Renal Anemia in Chinese and Western Medicine
Journal: Journal of Clinical Medicine Research DOI: 10.32629/jcmr.v6i3.4429
Abstract
Patients with chronic kidney disease often develop renal anemia as a significant complication, which significantly impacts their quality of life and long-term prognosis. In recent years, with deepening research into the pathogenesis of renal anemia, Western medicine has achieved breakthroughs in erythropoietin analog applications, iron supplementation, and new drug development. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory centers on the concept of "kidney deficiency and blood stasis." Through TCM compound formulas and acupuncture therapy, a distinctive treatment system has been established. The integrated TCM-Western medicine approach has gradually become a key clinical direction, while personalized precision medical strategies have improved patient outcomes.
