Abstract

This paper aims to explore the current situation of college English teachers ' information-based teaching ability and its promotion strategies. First of all, through the analysis of the current situation of college English teachers ' information-based teaching ability, it reveals the advantages and disadvantages of teachers in the application of information technology. Secondly, it puts forward the strategies to improve teachers ' information-based teaching ability, including curriculum and training improvement, application of educational technology tools and policy and system support. Finally, combined with practical cases, this paper analyzes the practical experience of improving information-based teaching ability, and looks forward to the future development direction.
