The Dilemma of Ideal and Conviction Education for College Students in the New Era and the Solutions to Relieve it

Abstract
In the contemporary society of diversified values and information explosion, the education of college students' ideals and beliefs is facing unprecedented challenges. This paper focuses on the real-life dilemmas that exist in the current education practice, analyzes the root causes, and puts forward practical strategies to alleviate them. The study concludes that it is necessary to build a new system of idealism education that is contemporary, attractive and effective by updating educational concepts, innovating methods and carriers, optimizing the environment, and strengthening the role of the main body, so as to help young students to build a firm spiritual foundation and realize the harmonious unity of personal value and social development.
