High-Temperature Red in Teaching Inorganic Materials

Abstract
Ceramic that manufactured at high temperature is a very important category of inorganic material. The density and strength of ceramics improve gradually as the preparation temperature increases. The proportion of ceramic tools, utensils, and components in people's lives is increasing. Attaching colors to these ceramic products and endowing them with artistic charm and spiritual sustenance, are the symbol of the development of human civilization. Red is a color full of energy and fascination. To introduce red into ceramics had been the pursuit of ceramic artists throughout history because red color was not stable at high temperature. This article discusses the development of high-temperature red color in ancient and modern times, showcasing the extraordinary perseverance and craftsmanship of the researchers, as well as the influence of the red color on inorganic materials. It helps us to explore the combination of education and humanities, to experience the unique charm of red on ceramics.
