Harmony and Consensus: The Political and Ideological Function of Music Aesthetic Education in Building a Harmonious Campus Culture

Abstract
As a vital component of education, music aesthetic education not only enhances students 'artistic literacy but also plays an indispensable role in ideological and political education. This paper explores the ideological-political functions of music aesthetic education in building harmonious campus culture. It analyzes the connotation of harmony and the formation mechanism of consensus, revealing how music education fosters students' ideological-political education through artistic resonance and emotional connection. By elaborating on the positive effects of music aesthetic education in strengthening collectivism, cultivating values, and promoting mental health, this paper emphasizes its importance in advancing harmonious campus culture development and nurturing students' social responsibility and collective consciousness.
