探究英语词汇中的性别偏见——以BNC语料库中的性别词序为例

Abstract
尽管社会在不断进步,女性的社会地位也在逐步提高,但语言作为文化的载体,其变化往往滞后于社会现实。本文以BNC语料库中的词序为研究对象,探讨了英语词汇中的性别偏见。目的是分析英语国家中性别语序的使用及其对男女态度的反映。该方法结合了对BNC词频分布的定量和定性分析。数据结果显示,当男性术语先于女性术语时,使用频率有显著差异,这表明了男性主导的文化偏见。本研究的重要之处在于其对语言性别歧视的实证洞察,为倡导语言平等和挑战根深蒂固的性别规范提供了依据。
