It involves smart objects that understands and makes response in a variety of industrial, commercial and home environment. As the Internet of Things expands the number of connected devices, cyber attackers are possible to enter the physical world in which we live because they have caught the security vulnerabilities in these new systems. New security issues arise through the heterogeneity of IoT applications and devices as well as its large-scale deployment.
Abuse of IoT devices may result from malicious individuals or malware. Any given type of security measures to access control management can be compromised. Managing security with multi-layered approaches makes abuse more difficult because of the need to break some independent layers of security.
Deepak Choudhary conducted a survey on the security of heterogeneity of IoT applications, which was published in the journal Autonomous Intelligence. The novelty proposed in this study involves the development of a practical, low-cost, multi-level security approach for IoT applications that combines physical proximity registration of IoT devices, communication encryption between mobile devices and IoT devices, geographic location verification. , embedded safety operation control and exception/confirmation reports. The low cost of the method is achieved by the use of commonly available techniques combined in a novel manner.
