Doctoral supervisor, director of the Intelligent Decision Research Institute of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, graduated from the University of Angers in France in 2013 with a Ph.D. He has long been engaged in scientific research and teaching in the fields of optimization decision theory and methods, operations research and scheduling, and complex system modeling. Use efficient mathematical programming methods and intelligent optimization algorithms to solve a series of complex optimization decision-making problems faced by my country's economic construction and industrial production, in order to achieve the purpose of improving enterprise resource utilization and reducing enterprise operating costs. In scientific research, he adheres to the principle of combining theory with practice, and propose some efficient and versatile optimization methods and key optimization techniques in the field of optimization decision-making theory and methods, and apply them to key optimization problems in China’s economic construction. Related systems have been applied in corporate practice and have produced important economic value, published many high-level journal papers, presided over a number of corporate and national scientific research projects. He was selected into the Xiangjiang Scholars Program, Huazhong University of Science and Technology Outstanding Scholar Program, and obtained Huazhong Science and Technology University Academic Newcomer Award (only 1 person per year in the liberal arts of the university), and the main academic achievements obtained are as follows.

1) Scientific papers

So far, nearly 50 papers have been published and accepted in well-known journals and conferences at home and abroad, including 42 SCI/SSCI indexed papers. Among them, 36 SCI/SSCI papers were published as the first or corresponding author. Among these 36 papers, two papers were published in 24 top journals of UT Dallas Business School (One for the first author and one for the corresponding author). At the same time, according to the recommended list of high-quality management science journals released by FMS in August 2020, it includes 8 papers of category A and 27 papers of category B and above. In addition, most of the papers have been published in well-known journals in the field of operations research and management science such as Informs journal on computing (UTD24, two articles with the first author and the corresponding author), European Journal of Operational Research (FMS list category A, six articles with the first author and the corresponding author), Computers & Operations Research (FMS list B category, eight articles with the first author and the corresponding author), International Journal of Production Research (FMS list B category), Annals of Operations Research (FMS list B category), Information Sciences (FMS list B category, impact factor 5.91) and Computers & Industrial Engineering (FMS list B category). In terms of paper citations, in recent years, a paper published by the first author in European Journal of Operational Research has a single SCI/SSCI citation number of 94 times, and a single Google Scholar paper has been cited more than 200 times. In addition, one of his work or communication papers has been cited more than 1,000 times in Google Scholar, and the H factor is 14. At the same time, he has made achievements in optimization theory and method research, like he has proposed a multi-neighborhood search method, a restricted neighborhood search method, and a tabu search algorithm based on tabu solution, and he has won famous scholars in the field of management science such as Fred Glover (academician of the American Academy of Engineering), Pierre Hansen (academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Canada), Licheng Jiao (IEEE fellow), and Manuel Laguna (Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Heuristics And Annals of Operations Research regional editor), Gary Kochenberger (former editor-in-chief of Interfaces). His papers have also been cited by famous journals such as OR, IJOC, MOR, AI, EJOR. In addition, the published papers are mostly derived from the needs of my country's economic and social development, and solve some of the complex optimization decision-making problems faced by my country's economic construction and industrial production, such as the location and wiring of large photovoltaic power stations, and the complex network planning of power systems, etc.

2) Scientific research projects

In recent years, as the project leader, he has presided over more than 10 various scientific research projects. The main scientific research projects are summarized as follows: (1) Presided over 2 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including one general project and one youth project, and the National Self-Technology Foundation Youth Fund has been evaluated as a special excellent prize. (2) Presided over a number of corporate horizontal topics, one of which was funded by 1.5 million. The class scheduling system under the new college entrance examination developed by this project is currently used in the practice of class scheduling in many middle schools in my country. (3) Participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China's innovative research group (Management System Engineering) as a main member. (4) As the sub-project leader, he participated in one of the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one of the major international cooperation projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and one of the major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China. (5) Presided over 1 humanities and social science independent project of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, 3 independent innovation fund projects of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and 3 enterprise horizontal consulting projects.

3) Application of scientific research results and economic and social value

Presided over or participated in a number of large-scale enterprises and complex system modeling and optimization application practice projects. For example, as the project leader, he completed the class scheduling system under my country’s new college entrance examination, which integrates advanced mathematical planning methods and efficient optimization algorithm. The system has been adopted by Tianyu Education, the largest education group in Hubei Province (project funding is 1.5 million, which can be seen in the attached material). It has also been applied to the practice activities of class and arranging classes in nearly 100 middle schools in my country, which has brought important economic value. As the main performer, he completed the "Large-scale Photovoltaic Power Plant Wiring Optimization" project in cooperation with Hubei Electric Power Exploration and Design Institute, and developed an efficient accuracy algorithm based on the branch pricing cut plane for the wiring planning of the company’s photovoltaic power plant design. The research results have been applied to the "Gansu Wuwei 2.2MWp Solar Photovoltaic Grid-connected Power Generation Project", which saved nearly one million in raw material costs during the project implementation. The project-related research results are now officially included in the top journal in the field of management science Informs journal on Computing (UT Dallas 24 journals, which can be seen in the attached material). In addition, he also hosted and participated in the completion of a number of large-scale enterprise cooperation projects, including Huawei, China Power Grid, Central China Power Grid, France Telecom, etc.
